Past Future Perfect Continuous

Past Future Perfect Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Menekankan durasi suatu aktivitas yang akan berlangsung sebelum waktu lain atau peristiwa di masa depan dalam kejadian tapi masa lalu di saat berbicara (I would have been sleeping for two hours by the time my brother went home because he would get home at midnight: saya akan tidur selama dua jam pada saat adik saya pulang karena dia akan pulang pada tengah malam) 
2. Terkadang Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense dan Past Future Perfect Tense memiliki arti yang sama (By yesterday I would have been finishing my homework: pada waktu kemarin saya akan telah menyelesaikan PR-ku) ini memiliki arti yang sama dengan (By yesterday I would have finished my homework: pada waktu kemarin saya telah akan menyelesaikan PR-ku)

Past Future Perfect

Past Future Perfect adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Mengacu pada suatu tindakan yang telah akan selesai dilakukan pada titik waktu tertentu pada masa akan datang tetapi diungkapkan pada masa lampu. Ini selalu diungkapkan dengan menggunakan ungkapan waktu. (In 4 years' time ago, I would have finished studying in university: Dalam waktu 4 tahun yang lalu, saya akan selesai belajar di universitas)

Past Future Continuous

Past Future Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Mengungkapkan suatu kejadian di masa akan datang tanpa penentuan batas waktu tetapi diungkapkan di masa lampau. (I would be living in Manchester if I got job: saya telah akan tinggal di Manchester kalau dapat pekerjaan )
2. Mengungkapkan sesuatu yang akan berlanjut di beberapa waktu tertentu pada masa akan datang tetapi diungkapkan di masa lampau. (I should be cooking dinner if my husband went home: saya telah akan memasak makan malam ketika suamiku pulang)

Past Future

Past Future adalah bentuk kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk mengungkapkan suatu kejadian di masa depan/masa akan datang tetapi diungkapkan pada masa lampau. Hal ini diungkapkan menggunakan would dan should. Would digunakan untuk semua person (kata ganti orang) sedangkan Should digunakan untuk orang pertama baik tunggal ataupun jamak .  (I, you, he, she, they, we would eat rice yesterday: saya, kamu, dia laki-laki, dia perempuan, mereka, kami, saya akan makan nasi kemarin) dan (I and we should eat rice yesterday: saya dan kami akan makan nasi kemarin)

Contoh Future Perfect Continuous

Affirmative

1. I will have been sleeping for two hours by the time my brother gets home because he will get home at midnight
2. You will have been sleeping for two hours by the time your brother gets home because he will get home at midnight
3. We will have been sleeping for two hours by the time our brother gets home because he will get home at midnight
4. They will have been sleeping for two hours by the time their brother gets home because he will get home at midnight

Future Perfect Continuous

Future Perfect Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Menekankan durasi suatu kegiatan yang akan berlangsung sebelum kegiatan atau kejadian yang lain terjadi di masa yang akan datang (I will have been sleeping for two hours by the time my brother gets home because he will get home at midnight: saya akan tidur selama dua jam pada saat kakakku pulang karena dia akan pulang larut malam)
2. Terkadang Future Perfect Continuous dan Future Perfect memiliki arti yang sama (By tomorrow I will have been finishing my homework it has same meaning with By tomorrow I will

Future Perfect

Future Perfect adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Mengungkapkan suatu tindakan yang akan selesai pada titik waktu tertentu di masa depan. Hal ini selalu diungkapkan dengan ungkapan waktu. (In 4 years' time, I will have finished studying in university: Dalam jangka 4 tahun, saya akan menyelesaikan studi di univesitas)
2. Mengungkapkan suatu tindakan yang akan berlanjut pada periode waktu tertentu di masa depan. Future Perfect juga bisa digantikan dengan Future Continuous (By tomorrow I will have finished my homework bisa digantikan dengan By tomorrow I will have been finishing my homework: besok saya akan menyelesaikan PRku)

Future Continuous

Future Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Mengungkapkan masa yang akan datang tanpa menentukan batas waktu. (I will be living in Manchester after getting married: Saya akan tinggal di Manchester setelah menikah)
2. Mengungkapkan sesuatu yang akan berlangsung pada beberapa waktu tertentu di masa yang akan datang. (I shall be cooking dinner when my husband goes home: Saya akan memasak untuk makan malam ketika suamiku pulang)

Simple Future

Simple Future adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan waktu/masa yang akan datang. Kata yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan Simple Future adalah Will dan Shal. Will digunakan oleh semua kata ganti sedangkan Shall hanya digunakan oleh orang pertama baik tunggal atau pun jamak (I, you, he, they will eat rice) and (I and we shall eat rice)

Past Perfect Continuous

Past Perfect Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Mengungkapkan sebuah tindakan yang dimulai pada waktu tertentu di masa lampau dan masih berlangsung/berlanjut atau baru saja selesai di titik lain pada waktu itu (He grew thin because he had not been sleeping well for a week: Dia menjadi kurus karena tidak tidur selama satu minggu)
2. Past Perfect Continuous Tense dapat digantikan oleh Past Perfect Tense. Contoh di atas boleh ditulis sebagai berikut: (He grew thin because he had not slept well for a week)

Past Perfect

Past Perfect Tense adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Mengambarkan tindakan yang telah terjadi di masa lampau sebelum tindakan lampau yang lain. Past Perfect Tense berhubungan dengan Past Tense dan biasanya menggunakan konjungsi waktu (kata penghubung waktu) (By the time we arrived, my uncle had gone: Pada saat kami tiba, pamanku pergi)
2. Past Perfect Tense bisa juga digunakan untuk tindakan sebagai berikut:

• Tindakan yang dimulai pada waktu berbicara di masa lampau dan masih berlanjut pada waktu itu (I had lived in New York since I was child: saya telah tinggal di New York sejak saya kecil)

Past Continuous

Past Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Menyatakan bahwa seseorang sedang atau telah berada di tengah-tengah suatu kejadian atau peristiwa pada masa lampu di waktu tertentu (I was studying at 8 o’clock last night: saya sedang belajar pada jam 8 tadi malam)
2. Simple Past dan Past Continuous sering digunakan bersama untuk mengungkapkan sesuatu telah terjadi pada sesuatu yang lain (I studied when you were sleeping: saya telah belajar ketika kamu sedang tidur)

Simple Past

Simple Past adalah bentuk kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk:

1. Merujuk pada sebuah tindakan/perbuatan atau kejadian di masa lampau di waktu tertentu yang tealah selesai dikerjakan (I went to America last year: saya telah pergi ke Amerika tahun lalu) 
2. Merujuk pada sebuah tindakan atau peristiwa yang biasa dilakukan pada masa lampau dan sudah tidak dilakukan lagi pada masa sekarang (I always went to school by car: dulu saya selalu naik mobil ke sekolah) 
3. Merujuk pada sebuah tindakan atau peristiwa di masa lampau dengan waktu yang tidak ditentukan (I went to America: saya telah pergi ke Amerika)

Present Perfect Continuous

Present Perfect Continuous  adalah bentuk kata kerja yang menggambarkan sebuah tindakan yang dimulai pada masa lampau sampai sekarang dan masih akan berlangsung untuk masa yang akan datang. Dalam beberapa kasus Present Perfect Continuous dapat digunakan secara bergantian dengan present perfect tense. Contoh I have been studying English for ten years: saya telah belajar bahasa Inggris selama 10 tahun. (dari sepuluh tahun yang lalau hingga sekarang dan masih akan belajar bahasa Inggris)

Present Perfect

Present Perfect adalah sebuah bentuk kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk:

1. Menunjukkan pada suatu perbuatan/tindakan atau peristiwa yang dimulai beberapa waktu di masa lampau hingga saat sekarang.(I have studied English for one year: saya telah belajar bahasa Inggris selama satu tahun) artinya dari tahun lalu hingga sekarang saya telah belajar dan masih belajar.
2. Merujuk pada suatu tindakan yang terjadi pada suatu waktu di masa lampau dan memiliki efek/pengaruh pada masa/situasi sekarang (I have closed the door: saya telah menutup pintu) artinya pintu tertutup dan tidak ada seorang pun yang bisa keluar.

Present Continuous

Present Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk:

1. Mengungkapkan sebuah kegiatan/perbuatan atau kejadian yang sedang berlangsung pada masa sekarang (I am studying English: saya sedang belajar bahasa Inggris)
2. Mengungkapkan sebuah tindakan atau peristiwa yang ada di masa sekarang tetapi belum tentu terjadi pada saat berbicara (he is studying English in Pancasila International School: Dia belajar bahasa Inggris di sekolah internasional Pancasila) 
3. Membicarakan tentang sesuatu yang terjadi sekitar sekarang. (John is working hard today: Hari ini John berkerja dengan giat)

Simple Present

Simple Present adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Menggambarkan kegiatan yang biasa dilakukan/ kegiatan keseharian (I eat rice: saya makan nasi) 
2. Menyatakan kebenaran universal (umum), fakta atau ide. (human being need eating: manusia membutuhkan makan) 
3. Merujuk pada tindakan atau keadaan (I am a student: saya seorang pelajar, he is in school: dia di sekolah)

Pada awal perkembagan Islam, Rasulullah mengharamkan ziarah kubur bagi para sahabat, tapi seiring berjalannya waktu dan kemapanan aqidah serta keimanan para sahabat sudah tidak diragukan lagi, maka Rasulullah pun menganjurkan ziarah kubur.

Past Future Tense

Usage of Past Future Tense

Past Future Tense is used to express future time in action but past in time of speaking. It is expressed with the use would and should. Would is used for all persons.
