Contoh Past Future Perfect Continuous

Affirmative

1. I would have been sleeping for two hours by the time my brother went home because he would get home at midnight
2. You would have been sleeping for two hours by the time your brother went home because he would get home at midnight
3. We would have been sleeping for two hours by the time our brother went home because he would get home at midnight

Past Future Perfect Continuous

Past Future Perfect Continuous adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk:

1. Menekankan durasi suatu aktivitas yang akan berlangsung sebelum waktu lain atau peristiwa di masa depan dalam kejadian tapi masa lalu di saat berbicara (I would have been sleeping for two hours by the time my brother went home because he would get home at midnight: saya akan tidur selama dua jam pada saat adik saya pulang karena dia akan pulang pada tengah malam) 
2. Terkadang Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense dan Past Future Perfect Tense memiliki arti yang sama (By yesterday I would have been finishing my homework: pada waktu kemarin saya akan telah menyelesaikan PR-ku) ini memiliki arti yang sama dengan (By yesterday I would have finished my homework: pada waktu kemarin saya telah akan menyelesaikan PR-ku)
